Catcher ...I love your writing style so much Katie.

Catcher in The Rye was a difficult book for me, because as a general rule, I dislike complaining. I much preferred the confused musings of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. But that's besides the point, really.
People who don't read disturb me sometimes. As far as being asked what you like to do, I have more mercy for that, because people like to relate to something.

That sounds absolutely awesome, running around and such. Those are some of my favorite moments.
Once, at night my friends and I went exploring an old lake after a formal, our heels digging in the dirt, taking pictures and such. Those are really wonderful moments.

Missed your blog darling.Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03141941816962453394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6439798583967357873.post-21985132254399236192011-10-12T15:59:50.700-04:002011-10-12T15:59:50.700-04:00Your first story made me smile. I know how that "exciting, potentially dangerous" thing goes...and it makes SUCH good memories. (:

Keep exploring, girl. A boy came in and said, as he set his stuff at his desk, "Don't you have anything better to do than read?" I said, "Not really."

If I was brave, I would have replied, "Don't you have anything better to do than torment our teachers and cuss out kids during recess?" And thrown my book at him. It was one of those Left Behind: The Kids books, and I'm sure that would have creeped him out even more.

It's funny how that moment has stuck with me after all of these years to the point that I can remember the boy, the class, and the book I was reading. :)

~KristinKristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10592919145644124930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6439798583967357873.post-66902553702585881782011-10-11T11:46:25.691-04:002011-10-11T11:46:25.691-04:00oh my! i never understand people who don't lik...oh my! i never understand people who don't like to read...it's just something i could never figure out:) and running around exploring in a field at night? its awesome! i live in the country and do it all the time...the thrill and tickling fear is oh-so-much fun!

love this post:)Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02233088809979531456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6439798583967357873.post-80139827497002809482011-10-11T11:28:16.270-04:002011-10-11T11:28:16.270-04:00I yell at people who don't like to read.
